The Perfect Woodsy Engagement Photoshoot on Long Island
Engagement photography is a great opportunity for couples to get comfortable in front of the camera and to have some beautiful, candid shots to commemorate this special time in their lives. As modern day photographers on Long Island, we were thrilled to capture the love and joy of a newly engaged couple, Jessica and Phil.
From the moment we began their engagement photoshoot, their love for one another was evident in their interactions and the way they looked at each other. It all felt very organic, and we were able to capture that genuine connection in our photos.
The couple had a woodsy theme in mind for their photoshoot, and we went location scouting to find the perfect spot. Blydenburg Park in Smithtown ended up being the perfect choice, offering a mixture of light and airy shots near the pond and more moody shots in the wooded areas.
Having fun during our photoshoots is key to getting natural, candid shots that capture the couple's personalities. Jessica and Phil were a lot of fun during their shoot, and we were able to bring out their playful sides by chatting with them and having them do things that felt natural to them. We even used props to show off their personalities in some of the pictures.
